I flat out love the ferry rides we've had. The excitement of the loading yard, the assembly just gets it started for me. This was one big ferry.
We were the first car of the second group so we got a good view of the action for a while too.
It was full too, the loaders packed the trucks in there.
Passing the Lief Erickson, a smaller ferry on the way out of North Sydney, NS on our way to Port aux Basques, Newfoundland.
I was all over the boat, on the observation deck it was like the channel 5 weather man during his play time hurricane broadcasts— and there were a couple of men up there who loved it. We had fun. And yes there was a storm coming too.
returning to our cars. Ours is up there next to the low-boy truck with the black box trailer as a load.
Driving up Canada Highway 1, the TransCanadian Highway. It was quite pretty country.

That's a big ferry! Reminds me of our ferry ride to the aquarium in June. :)
