this is getting good

that my friends - well I may be a bit light headed, let me back up - not sure I have so many friends who read this so---  -- well my relatives,  check out the pork chop baked bean beauty in the oven.  Yes -sir-reeee- bob,  looked it up on "the google" found a recipe which I immediately knew would do -- (you have brown sugar, green peppers, and onions in something and well that makes a good start).  This is sill in the oven -Let you know later how it turns out but I am thinking it is going to be good.  I am also thinking I keep this up and Patt may yet let me keep on being retired- which I have mentioned to you all is a very good state of being).  

 and just because I can -- how bout these --- real pumpkin too, none of this canned stuff.  Well actually if the taste is not a WHOLE lot better, it will be canned pumpkin next time.  Used a different recipe -- has mace and vanilla in it in addition to ginger and cinnamon and the other usual stuff.  If I remember I will let you know how they turn out. -- those lines on the pie at 5 o'clock are where testing indicated not yet done.

  2. I'm impressed Uncle Paul! I have a friend who works at "The Google" so I'll let her know they're doing a good job. I love this new hobby of yours, we can talk cooking when I come home for break. love you!

  3. So, you put the beans in the oven on 12/9 and we haven't heard about them yet, 12/11. They certainly looked good in the oven.

    Dude, I hope you are still visiting the gym since your new pastime for retirement will certainly creep up on your waist if you aren't!
