spent some time with the kids

I spent a good amount of time with the kids today, and sure did enjoy it. Isaac and I talked a played a bit - he is getting quite loud, not so many words, of course he may never get a chance to use any with his two older sisters. He will have a lot to laugh at though and he does enjoy laughing and playing very much and is so easy to be with and around.
Lydia was the last of the girls (for a while there were three as Emma Grace was visiting) to leave the coloring table, I had done a little to help with Strawberry shortcake or whoever - concentration helps and not worrying about lines does too. Colors, now that is what I learned is important.

we were looking intently for an insect of some sort that had been seen in the vicinity of these bushes in the recent past. The concentration and effort at finding said insect was unrivaled in the field of science. Alas, no insect was discovered. Not for lack of trying. Earlier, Emma Grace, Julianna, Lydia and I had spent time riding a scooter, sorting gravel, running down a sidewalk, whispering with one another, getting an emergency pants change from EA, (not mine) and generally having a grand time.

  3. You were obviously born to be a grandfather! The kids are totally adorable and you must be loving every minute. It's a bit shocking how much you look like your Dad in these pictures...I'm forwarding this blog to Mom And Dad to enjoy.
