
We periodically say all we need is "two more years" out of this car- and low and behold - we get it. again and again, kids in college, kids getting out of college, kids getting married and Patt and I deciding to go visit a kid somewhere or whatever.

and still looking good- the Green Van. we name cars special names too.

Uncle Paul, I love that you wrote a post about your minivan. I can't tell you how many times I've heard Dad say that he wishes he still had his green minivan. Here's to "two more years."

did that thing not qualify as a clunker?! Lots of memories of green vans since 3 of the brothers had a green one at some point. I guess that's why I love my green van and hope it lasts as long as yours!
ReplyDeleteThere was a time I swore I'd never ever ever drive a minivan...probably about the same time you (and my dad) got your green ones! We've had ours now for 2 years and can't imagine not having it. What's the saying...never say never!

ReplyDeleteI keep wanting a van back, my sedan is just not as good. Is only 9 years old and 100,000+ miles but I still miss my van. Remind me to tell my joke about vans.
